Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 16/02/2026
1. Introduction
1.1 Welcome to Road Car Service UK (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including but not limited to mobile tyre fitting, vehicle recovery, towing, and roadside assistance.
1.2 By accessing our website www.roadcarservice.uk or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1.3 Service Network & Partnerships:
Road Car Service UK operates as part of an extended roadside assistance and recovery network. Calls, enquiries, or bookings may be handled by Road Car Service UK or one of our authorised partner companies operating within our network. The policies outlined in these Terms apply equally across all such services.
2. Service Overview
2.1 Road Car Service UK acts as a third-party intermediary, connecting customers with vetted and approved independent service providers for vehicle recovery, towing, and mobile tyre services across the UK.
2.2 Customers may request quotes via telephone or through our website. We will search our network to identify a suitable and cost-effective service provider based on availability and location.
2.3 Non-Refundable Deposit:
To confirm and secure a service provider, customers are required to pay a non-refundable deposit before any work is carried out.
3. Deposits & Cancellations
3.1 Deposit Requirement:
A deposit must be paid to secure the selected service provider.
3.2 Non-Refundable Deposits:
All deposits are strictly non-refundable if the service is cancelled by the customer for any reason. This includes cancellations due to changes in circumstances, delays, or no-shows.
3.3 No Refund on Cancellation:
Once a deposit has been paid, cancellation of the job by the customer will not entitle them to any refund. No exceptions will be made.
3.4 Driver Failure:
If the allocated driver or service provider is unable to complete the job, Road Car Service UK may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial refund. Such refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
4. Driver Details & Responsibilities
4.1 Upon receipt of the deposit, we will share the assigned driver’s contact details with the customer.
4.2 Once driver details have been provided, Road Car Service UK is not responsible for disputes, delays, or issues arising between the customer and the service provider. Customers are responsible for liaising directly with the driver regarding access, timing, and job-specific requirements.
5. Customer & Service Provider Responsibilities
5.1 Customer Responsibility:
Customers must provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle and situation. Failure to disclose key details (including but not limited to non-rolling vehicles, mechanical damage, or restricted access) may result in additional charges or cancellation without refund.
5.2 Third-Party Provider Liability:
Road Car Service UK is not liable for the acts, omissions, performance, or workmanship of third-party service providers. Any complaints or claims relating to the service provided must be raised directly with the assigned provider.
6. Charges & Payments
6.1 Payment Methods:
Payments may be made via bank transfer, debit/credit card, or other secure payment methods specified at the time of booking.
6.2 Deposits Over £150:
For deposits exceeding £150, payment by bank transfer is strongly recommended.
6.3 Chargebacks:
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks will be contested. We will submit all supporting evidence, including call recordings, messages, and service logs, to defend such claims.
6.4 Peak-Hour Pricing:
Due to increased demand, limited driver availability, and higher operational and advertising costs (especially after 5:00 p.m.), prices during peak hours may be significantly higher. By proceeding with the booking, you accept the quoted price.
7. Liability & Disclaimer
7.1 Limitation of Liability:
Road Car Service UK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including delays, missed appointments, or additional costs arising from the service.
7.2 Vehicle Condition:
Customers acknowledge that vehicle recovery and roadside assistance may involve inherent risks. Road Car Service UK and its partners are not responsible for pre-existing damage or mechanical faults.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1 Initial Resolution:
Customers agree to first attempt to resolve disputes directly with Road Car Service UK.
8.2 Arbitration:
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be settled through binding arbitration under the laws of England and Wales. Court proceedings may only be initiated where legally required.
9. Changes to These Terms
9.1 Road Car Service UK reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
